Gabriella is such a sweet little dress that is just perfect for any special day whether it’s Grandma’s birthday party, a holiday, wedding or simply a day out with mom. This little dress features a contrasting band on the bodice and a clever sash that can be tied into a gorgeous bow in the front of the dress or if you prefer in the back. I’ve also used little covered buttons on the back of this dress. However, if you prefer to use regular buttons you certainly can. This dress also has a very full skirt with a built-in crinoline to give the skirt lots of fullness and make it have that princess feel, which is perfect for twirling. Just for fun try making the crinoline in a bright color that is complimentary to your fabric choice for a really fun pop of color underneath and an unexpected surprise!

All sizes are based upon an average child. However, it is very easy to customize this design simply by adding or subtracting an inch or so to achieve your desired length.

Notions:

Fabric A will be for the bodice, sleeves, sleeve bands and the skirt

Fabric B will be used to make the bodice bands and the sash ties

Fabric C will be used to make the crinoline

Fabric D is your Netting/Tulle
